Ferro Management Group (FMG) invests private equity capital in middle market companies in the USA.  Target companies are manufacturers, distributors and service companies with consistent historical performance, strong orientation towards growth through product and service development, increased market penetration and expansion, and experienced operating teams.

We invest committed European and American private equity capital.  We are experienced in due-diligence processes and commit to timely transactions.  At FMG, we expediently evaluate and submit proposals shortly after a visit of the target company and a discussion with the principals and management.  We try to find creative solutions which address the needs of both the selling shareholders and management alike.

FMG is an active participant in the future operation of target companies.  We are actively involved in crafting a future strategy, an operating plan and a sounding board for operating teams.  We support strong management teams and incentivize them throughout the investment and exit cycles.  Former operating staff are often used in future investments to form strong, successful alliances.

FMG is a small sized investment manager which promotes lean and efficient operations.  We expect all our portfolio companies to show the same thrust of efficiency and we encourage them to generate ideas which result in continuous improvements in all matters.

We bring together management, investment managers and investors to promote a strong alignment of interests and objectives.  Every year, we conduct three to four board meetings with the three participant groups at the site of operations.  The scope of experience and professionalism creates diversity of opinions and business solutions.
